I am Dan Crowell. I’m the Glenmorangie National Brand Ambassador for the USA.
Since 2014, I’ve been part of the team leading Glenmorangie’s education and advocacy efforts in the US.
I have over 30 years of spirits industry experience that includes management and ownership of bars & restaurants, as well as spirits distributor sales and management.
I hold the following spirits certifications – General Certificate in Distilling (Institute of Brewing & Distilling), Diploma In Single Malt Whisky (Edinburgh Whisky Academy), Certified Specialist of Spirits (Society of Wine Educators), Master of Scotch, Council Member, Certified Spirits Judge, Certified Scotch Professional and Certified Whisky Specialist (Council of Whisky Masters), Executive Bourbon Steward (Stave & Thief Society), Level 3 Award in Spirits and Level 2 Award in Wine & Spirits (Wine & Spirits Educational Trust), Certified Sherry Wine Specialist (Wine Scholar Guild), BARSmarts Advanced

I’ve been married since 1992
to my lovely wife, Becky. We have a cat named Arthur. We love him dearly.
I began playing drums at the age of 13.
I’ve spent a good chunk of my life performing on stage with various bands and was, for a time, a partner in a recording studio and small, independent record label.
